Still lives

Still life is art work that focus on still objects. The subject matter is inanimate and never moves. I paint still life as my topic because I believe the relationships between the objects and human are complicated. Those objects are in our memories. And memories are pieces of moments we have experienced. And those experiences connect to our feelings about something. Still lives remain me about those moments when they touched me at that time. They are there quietly but my mind has been flying years back.
